Why the site exists

ReStory launched with the sort of tactile systems that are fun to learn but awkward to search: controls sit outside the main view, partly dismantled devices turn into boxes, and some early orders can collide with release bugs. A short, well-sourced answer is more useful than another broad game summary.

This site is not the official wiki. It is an independent field manual focused on the points where players get stuck or risk wasting time and in-game money.

What counts as evidence

Official Steam pages and developer-marked answers come first. Long, uncut release-build gameplay helps confirm what a control or menu actually looks like. Steam and Reddit reports show where multiple players are confused, but a community workaround stays labeled as a community workaround.

"Source verified" means the linked evidence supports the answer. It does not claim that this site independently reproduced the result on the current build unless the page explicitly says so. We do not own a review copy or present second-hand reports as hands-on testing.

Other ReStory sites are useful for discovering gaps and comparing how a topic is framed. We do not copy their wording, and we do not promote a claim merely because several sites repeated it. Secondary sources are identified in each page's evidence log.

Why there are only ten guides

The first edition is intentionally narrow. A separate page only earns its place when the question has a distinct search intent, a useful answer, and enough source material to support the details. We would rather update ten working manuals than ship a hundred device-name templates.

Corrections and updates

Patch-sensitive pages show a checked date and build note. If you find a wrong step, a fixed bug, or a stronger primary source, email contact@restorygame.com. Include the page, current game build, and a public link or screenshot when possible.
