The switch is beside the window
After cleaning the shop, rotate your view to the right of the front window. The open-shop switch is mounted there. Interact with it to raise the shutter and continue the first-day objective.
This is not a computer menu or a notebook task. The confusion comes from the switch sitting outside the centered workbench view. The accepted Steam answer was marked by a developer.
- Finish the initial shop-cleaning objective.
- Move your view away from the work mat and toward the right side of the window.
- Interact with the wall switch.
- Wait for the storefront to open and the objective to update.
If the task still does not clear
Check that the cleaning objective is fully complete and that you used the window switch, not a desk control. There is no confirmed launch-build bug attached to this specific objective in the source thread.
If the switch does nothing after those checks, save the exact build number and report it through the game support channel. Do not restart the whole save until you have ruled out an unfinished cleaning item.
